SKIATOOK BULLDOGS
Coach: PRESTON PEARSON
5-5
Skiatook enters 2026 with its system and culture firmly in place in year three under head coach Preston Pearson, and the Bulldogs believe that foundation will help a very talented but still young roster continue to climb in Class 4A. Coaches see this as one of the more gifted groups they have had, even as they acknowledge there will be some early growing pains as underclassmen step into bigger roles. Pearson’s staff is focused on building week-to-week consistency and competing at a high level every Friday as this group gains confidence and experience.
Offensively, Skiatook returns six starters and will again operate out of a multi-formation, balanced attack that wants to run the ball to set up the pass and throw it well enough to keep defenses honest. Senior quarterback Cole Bray (6-1, 183) gives the Bulldogs a proven leader after throwing for 1,854 yards and 14 touchdowns, and his familiarity with the system should help a young supporting cast settle in quickly. Up front, the line is anchored by Top 100 nominee Jaxon Oleson (6-5, 287), a future Division I prospect drawing interest from some of the nation’s biggest programs, along with junior George Richins (6-0, 247) and sophomore Koen Seeley (6-4, 275), all of whom also contribute on defense. Sophomore tailback Jack Fudge (5-9, 156) is back after rushing for more than 600 yards and five touchdowns, and junior receiver Ryko Godfrey (5-9, 172) returns as Bray’s top target with 46 catches, over 500 receiving yards and six scores.
Defensively, the Bulldogs bring back five starters and will base out of an odd front that emphasizes keeping everything in front, stopping the run and playing physical, relentless football through the echo of the whistle. Senior cornerback Kaden Brown (6-2, 168) headlines the secondary, where he is joined by junior corner Javion Wier (5-8, 147) and senior safety Gunner Goodwin (6-1, 172), giving Skiatook length and experience on the back end. Sophomore safety Watson Brownrigg (5-8, 152) and sophomore defensive lineman Rylan Akers (6-2, 232) are part of a promising young defensive core that should only improve as the season progresses. If the defense can grow up quickly and the offensive line plays to its considerable potential, Skiatook expects to be a dangerous opponent by the time district play reaches its stretch run.
